General Information - The Elite Categories
- This regulation defines the procedure and rules for holding the international competition for young pianists
“The 2nd Carl Bechstein Piano Competition for Young Pianists (Thailand and Vietnam – Invitation)” in 2026 (hereinafter – the Competition). - The Competition is held once every 2 years.
- The founder of the Competition is 101 Piano & Strings Co., Ltd. under supervision of C.Bechstein Sales & Service GmbH.
- The Competition is for Thai Citizen or who is residence in Thailand for not less than 2 years and Vietnamese Citizen or who is residence in Vietnam for not less than 2 years
Main objectives of the Competition
- To acknowledge and develop the traditions of piano pedagogy, including:
- The identification of current trends in children’s piano pedagogy.
- Acknowledgment of exceptional pedagogical work of teachers and educational institutions.
- Providing opportunities for new forms of performance.
- Improving and expanding participants’ performance capabilities and repertoire.
- Acknowledgement of gifted and promising individuals, leading to their professional development.
- Celebrating the profession of piano pedagogy.

- This regulation defines the procedure and rules for holding
the international competition for young pianists
“The 2nd Carl Bechstein Piano Competition for Young Pianists (Thailand)” in 2026 (hereinafter – the Competition) – The Rising Stars Categories. - The Competition is held once every 2 years.
- The founder of the Competition is 101 Piano & Strings Co., Ltd. under supervision of C.Bechstein Sales & Service GmbH.
- The Competition is for Thai Citizen or who is residence in Thailand
for not less than 2 years.
Main objectives of the Competition
- To acknowledge and develop the traditions of piano pedagogy, including:
