General Information - The Elite Categories
This regulation defines the procedure and rules for holding the international competition for young pianists “The 2nd Carl Bechstein Piano Competition for Young Pianists (Thailand and Vietnam – Invitation)” in 2026 (hereinafter – the Competition).
The Competition is held once every 2 years.
The founder of the Competition is 101 Piano & Strings Co., Ltd. under supervision of C.Bechstein Sales & Service GmbH.
The Competition is for Thai Citizen or who is residence in Thailand for not less than 2 years and Vietnamese Citizen or who is residence in Vietnam for not less than 2 years
Main objectives of the Competition
To acknowledge and develop the traditions of piano pedagogy, including:
The identification of current trends in children’s piano pedagogy.
Acknowledgment of exceptional pedagogical work of teachers and educational institutions.
Providing opportunities for new forms of performance.
Improving and expanding participants’ performance capabilities and repertoire.
Acknowledgement of gifted and promising individuals, leading to their professional development.
Celebrating the profession of piano pedagogy.

This regulation defines the procedure and rules for holding the international competition for young pianists “The 2nd Carl Bechstein Piano Competition for Young Pianists (Thailand)” in 2026 (hereinafter – the Competition) – The Rising Stars Categories.
The Competition is held once every 2 years.
The founder of the Competition is 101 Piano & Strings Co., Ltd. under supervision of C.Bechstein Sales & Service GmbH.
The Competition is for Thai Citizen or who is residence in Thailand for not less than 2 years.
